+ What do I need to {send/receive} remittances via the GK One Mobile App?
Existing GKMS/WU customers will need a valid government-issued photo ID to complete a one-time verification. Once that’s done, you won’t need to show it again when collecting remittances through the app. You'll also need the Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN), name of your sender, relationship to the sender and purpose of the transfer.

Money transfers can be sent to all major commercial banks in Guyana. The following banks are supported at this time are: Bank of Baroda (Guyana) Inc, Citizens Bank (Guyana) Inc, Demerara Bank Limited, Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry Ltd, Republic Bank, and Bank of Nova Scotia.

Bank transfers typically take 24 - 48 hours depending on when the time of day the transfer is completed and the bank's processing time.

To register a new bank account, you can upload the required documents through the app. If you are an existing Direct to Bank customer your bank account will be reflected in the app.
